Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is funding provided to schools which is additional to the main funding for the school. It is allocated according to the number of pupils on roll who are currently eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), those who have been eligible over the past 6 years and those who are in the care of The Local Authority (LAC). Schools are accountable for the use of the PPG and must decide how it is spent. In respect of children looked after by the Local Authority, we will consult with the learner’s social worker before deciding how to spend the PPG.
The progress and impact of our Pupil Premium Strategy is analysed in a very individual way at Glenwood as each young person has a bespoke curriculum. Case Studies are created by teachers to track each young person's journey so far. The Case Studies were also used to demonstrate progress, demonstrate impact and to influence decision-making about the next steps in learning. These Case Studies will be returned to yearly to analyse the sustainability of impact.
